Methodology page
We published the methodology page, setting out how the engine calculates footprints, where each emission factor comes from and what we refuse to fudge. It is the document we point auditors at, and now it is public.
Every entry here corresponds to something you can actually use on the platform today. Newest first. If a fix matters, we say what it broke.

Three plans went live: free for individuals, a flat £49 a month for teams of up to 25, and bespoke quoting for enterprise. Same engine and same factors on every tier, so a number never changes when a plan does.
Press the palette shortcut inside the calculator to jump between sections, re-run an activity or open an export without hunting through menus. Keyboard first, and it remembers your last command.
The calculator installs to your home screen and keeps your entries on the device, so a dropped connection on a train no longer loses a half-finished footprint. This release also fixed a stale-results bug where editing a trip did not refresh the total until you left the page.
The emission factor database now carries 135 named factors across travel, home energy, food and goods. Every factor keeps its source and vintage on screen, and deprecated values are versioned rather than silently replaced.
Monthly footprints export as a formatted PDF report or a plain CSV of activities with factors and totals. The CSV carries the factor name and source in its own columns, so it survives a spreadsheet round trip.
Calculations now run on the device. Footprints compute without a round trip to a server, which makes the calculator faster and keeps raw activity data where it was entered. The same engine powers the public methodology page figures.
